La Serenissima will create a new recording for release on Signum: ‘Crossing Borders.’ The repertoire being recorded illustrates the significant cultural links between 18th century composers in Germany & Italy featuring little-known chamber works by Brescianello & Schreyfogel, with music by Sieber, Telemann & Vivaldi – including the foot-stamping double concerto for flute & recorder by Telemann. Musicians include Tabea Debus (recorder) & Katy Bircher (flute) performing from new editions by Adrian Chandler.
