Throughout the ages, music and magic have been intrinsically linked. In this programme, Palisander explores music’s historic relationship with the wider magical spectrum: including elements of mathematics, philosophy, nature, religion and the occult. Featuring music spanning 1000 years alongside spoken word, movement & singing, the concert is an example of the exciting theatrical concerts for which Palisander is known.

Supporting the release of Palisander's forthcoming album of the same programme, the tour features new compositions inspired by magic & witchcraft in the local areas, by ensemble member Miriam Monaghan.
