Following the successful live performance and filming of these early Haydn Symphonies at the Stour Festival (generously supported by the Continuo Foundation) Florilegium will now be recording these symphonies for CD with the Dutch record label Channel Classics. This new recording will involve the same number of musicians that Haydn had at his disposal in Esterhazy when they were first performed in 1761. The recording will take place in St John the Evangelist Church, Upper Norwood in London in March 2022.
