Rune is an ensemble dedicated to bringing medieval music to life through historically informed and imaginative performances. 'Decameron Musicale' is a mosaic of musical stories inspired by Boccaccio’s Decameron, exploring themes of fortune, virtue, love, trickery, and intelligence. Featuring music by Landini, Ciconia, and Machaut, as well as rarely heard English pieces, the project includes concerts at festivals, an educational workshop, and a professionally recorded performance at St. Bartholomew-the-Great.
