CTQ hosts a unique trombone quartette weekend commencing with a workshop open to trombonists of all ages & experience from across Leicestershire. The history of the trombone quartette will be explained with CTQ providing a selection of rare original trombones from the 19th century. Students will then have the opportunity to try some of these instruments and to be coached on two pieces in a side-by-side format with CTQ which will then be performed alongside the ensemble in our evening concert with Leicestershire Chorale. CTQ then performs with Leicester Cathedral choir on the Sunday.
